Canterbury Earthquake: Demise of the Lincoln Hotel (Update)

This post confirms that the historic Lincoln Hotel is now (9 September) being demolished.  See below for some photos taken this morning of early stages of the demolition, which I will update again  later. I am told the main hotel is 125 years old.  The single story extension, built in the 1970s or thereabouts, is apparently the only part that is salvageable. For earlier photos of the damage, but prior to demolition, see my post from earlier this week.
